A few new things you can do with that basic old bottle of baby powder that you have in the back of the cupboard.First of all, before we get back into any of this DIY stuff, thank you so much for all the well wishes and lovely comments on my last post about our new baby Jack.He’s doing great, very strong and healthy, although he’s keeping me up all night every night feeding.
I don’t think I’ve slept more than 2 hours for the last five nights!It’s all worth it though to have a healthy, thriving baby.In fact, just yesterday we went to see the doctor and he’s already gained 2 oz over his birth weight!
Babies lose weight after birth and you usually want them back up to birth weight by 2 weeks old, so his weight gain is a big deal!.OK, enough baby talk for today.

Of course it’s still Jack-related!.We have deciduous trees all around our house and we really notice how much they affect the temperature indoors.
Fall is the perfect time to get planting!Do you have a mountain of disorganized lego at your house?Forget about all of those complicated, expensive and time-consuming lego storage solutions you’ve seen and given up on and just use cheapo clear storage bins instead.
So much easier for kids to see everything and it’s a simple enough system that they might even put the legos away on their own!OK, let me just start out by saying that if I was in charge of this chalkboard project, then I absolutely would have gone ahead and done a shoddy job of it.I ended up asking Chris to make this for Kennedy’s room though, so of course he went and turned a quick little project into a whole.
